Found this leaning against a fence in a guys yard. Asked the guy what he wanted for it and he said to take it...
I'm usually partial to Schwinn's but couldn't pass up the price.
I'm guessing it's late 80's era. Can anyone tell me anything about it?

Not sure what it is, but it could use another basket. 
This will be my new project for my daughter who is away at college near the beach. Hopefully something she can feel proud to ride down on the boardwalk... I've already taken the three baskets off the back but I think I'll keep the one on the front. Still trying to decide how to integrate the Pancho Villa into the finished product.
That's great that you rescued it and that you're going to redo it for your daughter. I have no idea on the age or make but it has a newer look to me because of the fork and those little canti bars.
Looks like I have a "Micargi" Tahiti. According to what I read, Micargi has been building bikes in China since 1994. So it's gotta be '94 or later.
