Wanted to build a cruiser that was "unique" and had the components I wanted so I started with the Felt kit. Had the bike painted by Harald at Toxik Lab Deigns here in Vancouver who loves bikes and is quite well known in the biking community. It cost a little more to build from the frame up but I enjoy the process so it was well worth it to me.

The inspiration was a miniature version of my motorcycle...in bicycle form.

Hopefully the bike will be fully assembled later this week and I will update pics then. Here are a few pics to start.

Will post pics of finished bike. Was hoping to finish this week but it looks like work Thursday to Monday so we will see.

The pictures of the paint job do not do it justice. It is flawless. WELL worth the extra $

Stoked to get it done and get some rides in before the 8 months of rain sets in here in Vancouver.

For sure some nice parts to build it with. Would be hard to build an ugly bike
with all that. :lol:

Just black with white stripe. Pictures don't do it justice.

I think he said 3 coats of paint with 2 coats of clear coat. Also he uses paint that is normally used on aircraft for durability so I'm not sure if that affects the colour.

Unfortunately work has delayed the completion of the bike for a few days.

Hopefully will be completed by Tuesday or Wednesday and I will post completed pics then.
