I have a set of Fattio-O tires that are 24x3... planning to order some rims for a build that are 24x1.75. Will I have an issue with mounting them? Should they fit in a 68' Schwinn frame?

I have the tires, which are over $40 each so I would like to use them, but I don't want to have to do too much frame bending/ banging.

Thanks for any insight folks.

They'll fit on a 1.75 rim. Mounted one on the front of an OCC.

For a tube, a 26 x 2.125 will work and they're a LOT cheaper than the 24 x 3 ones.

As for the fitting in a 26" middleweight (or even some ballon) frames, you're gonna have to spread/bend the rear seatstays and chainstays.
Not a Fatti-O (Kenda Kraze), but you get the idea.

Hope this helps.
