Last week after a 20 km cruise the seat felt a bit to wobbly.
turned out the black frame that i put on it to match the bike colors cracked on 2 places, so changed that back for the original chrome one and at the same time took the lights of from under the sadle and started to convert them from battery power to generator power.
using two size of bamboo. first i cut them to size the smaller fits snug into the bigger and then into the lighthousing.
i stripped the wire and slide it into the smaller bamboo, the screw holds the wire thight in place and makes the connection with wire and the light.
I drilled a hole in the endcap of the light, put in a rubber seal and put a washer in there to keep the smaller bamboo from sliding out the bigger bamboo.
after that the original spring that would hold the battery in place.
times two, for left and right.
now with some tie wraps, so i can ride the bike when i go looking for a generator
