This was a build from early summer. Started with my brother's orange 98' Diamondback Viper BMX frame that I boosted from a garbage pile.

Sanded the bike down to the primer, put a few primer coats on, did a matte black spray paint job (seemed like the most forgiving color), and then painted the handlebar stem a flat red.

Started assembling parts, springer fork for 26" wheels, kandy cruiser handle bars, lay back seat post, saddle seat, electra rear wheel 20" and a rattle can paint job on the 20" stock front wheel, finally a pair of white walls.

It has been christened "El Bandito Negro"

Rides like a dream.

cool, nice classic color combo. looks good , how does it ride.

It's actually really fun to ride and is extremely smooth for anyone under 6' 2". Gets a little cramped for anyone taller.
