Custom 29" Prewar Schwinn Motorbike

All custom made from scratch! Frame, rack, fenders, forks, truss rods, headlight, all made 23-24% larger than a stock 26" bike. The rims are laced to New Departure hubs, with Hookworm tires. Paint done by me, except for the tank decal. It was hand painted 23.5% larger than a factory decal by Tom Clark, it is amazing to see. The other parts were painted and pinstriped, then had a little "patina" work done to them by me. A larger close copy of a Silverray headlight was welded together from several pieces, then sanded and polished to shine like chrome. Stock size cranks, sprocket and chain guard finished off the frame. Then I laser cut and etched an acrylic mirror for a head badge. It rides great and is super smooth and quiet.

Yes, all from stock tubing. A friend Dave did most of the work, he's amazing !

We tried BMX style drop outs first, but it just didn't cut it! So we made OG style rear drop outs.

The original thinking and craftsmanship this bike represents is top level. Your upscale is seamless until you put it up against an original and realize how much bigger it is. I applaud your effort. Loved this.
