couldn't sell the bike, but.....

i wasnt able to sell a 6 speed muscle bike i put on craigs list. a neighbor kid really wanted it but being 14 he dont have any money. his home life is not the most desirable and his folks are not inclined to help him with a new bike so i told him if he mowed by back yard 5 times over this summer i'd trade him the bike for his work. seems like a good thing, i hope he ends up doing it. good for him wanting to work, that should be rewarded. rats encouraging positive character building...i dig it!

i hope he actually follows through, he's a good kid, he rides w/ me and my older son sometimes and thats the bike he rides, it'd be nice to see him earn it.
