Hello, I have some NOS Weinmann cables I need to cut down for a 1967 Schwinn Ramshorn. What length do I need to go for each cable/tube? Thank you!!!

I just route the cable sleeve(jacket), making sure I turn the handle bars side to side to make sure it doesn't bind. I make sure the cable curves in a natural way. (no abrupt or sharp bends) Cut the sleeve, put the crimp ends on the sleeve, run the cable through and leave about 4-6 inches past the end of the cable sleeve. Then adjust the brake and cut off any unnecessary cable excess leaving 3-4 inches and put a cable crimp on and it's done.

I can't say an exact length. I am sure that at the factory they had someone making these and that they could probably vary in length by an inch or two.
