Out ridin the rat 1st time. All was well till about 20 minutes of ride time and the pedal/hub slips about 1/10 of a turn. JC higgins Rat w/Komet Super brake still rode ok brake worked well just intermittently slipped.
Any info would be great Thanks

Have you done a re-furb on it yet? You should completely dis-assemble, clean all parts (squeaky-clean) with solvent, re-assemble and adjust as needed. Often times old grease gets crusty and causes all kind of weird stuff to happen. If your succesful, treat yourself to a nice dinner at the Wool growers restaraunt down-town! I love that place!!!! Later& PEACE!!!

I'm not sure of what you mean by hub slip, but could it need a simple chain tightening? If the chain is too loose and when sufficient pressure is exerted on the pedal stroke, you can actually pull the chain over the teeth for a couple of lengths and then it settles back in.
