whats for favorite way to cleanup wheels sprockets ect?
I like to use small brass toothbrushes and mothers chrome polish
I get the brushes at Napa and cost about 2 bucks each
they look like this
24brass.JPG

and they work real well near spokes! and they don't seem to scratch old chrome

0000 Steel whool and a little Lube on it...
I use a little brush like those as well for the tight spots..
but I have all my luck with the 0000 Bulldog Steel Whool..

Then I make sure I Oil or polish the Chrome...

Ok... I SO need to get my hands on some of those brushes! My 72 spoke chrome wheels are getting a little manky, and believe me... polishing each spoke by hand is not an option!

steel wool

i always use steel wool, then folow it up w/ a brillo pad and hot water. dry them off and follow up with chrome polish.
