So on Saturday, despite some nasty wet weather out of whim I decided to make a stop at a small bicycle event and swap meet that was going on in town. Cherryhurst Bikes was having an event to raise awareness for cyclist in the city of Houston. They had a bicycle contest, which was free, so I said what the heck if anything it just gives me a chance to display my 50s Western Flyer rat. So any who I ended up winning the vintage category and one of the door prizes they were doing. I went away with $45 in bicycle shop GC a cycling jersey and other small goodies. Over all a great time despite the weather and I got some funds to further add parts to my rat.
