State Bicycle Company Klunker, "Chainsaw", with strategic upgrades
Thomson SP/stem
Mone "meal replacement bar" moto bars, Jones Kraton bar grips
Brooks B67 boinger saddle
Wellgo flats
Custom frame bag from a bloke on Etsy

42:22 gearing, 54 gear inches, good SS gearing for me

I am astonished by how comfortable and capable a $400 bike can be - Basic, but not cheap. The upgrades easily doubled the price, but the bars and saddle make this an all-day sucker, and I'd like to ride a century this summer on this bike. The 650b wheels are a nice size. The stock KT coaster feels a bit janky, with strange cracks and too much back-pedal. Planning to rebuild wheels with better front hub, NOS Bendix coaster.

Singlespeed makes every ride an adventure!

Hmmm. When I view the original post, I see the photos, scaled to fit the page. I just clicked Attach Files, and selected a group of pics in a folder..

Doing it again, I see an additional step to select either a thumbnail or full size. What exactly do you see, viewing the original post? Not sure I understand why it works like that.

Sweet bike. That bag is the bomb! It's like a canvas tank. More useful than a metal tank.

Thanks, I'm super happy with how it came out. Coincidently, State Bike Co came out with their own version of that bag right as I was ordering it, but for less monies. I went with the Etsy guy, cuz I figured it would be a better product. I'm very impressed by quality of design and construction.

He can make a bag for any frame....

Ditched the OEM cranks. Original chainring fixed, press-fit, and slightly out of round. RaceFace Turbine cranks in red ano. 175mm of CNC lovely. Surly stainless CR for durable quiet drivetrain. Even more funness! So much seatpost; it needs a flag.
