Chainring question

I just found two really cool skiptooth chainrings, but on one of them the distance from the hole in the center of the ring and the hole where the rod goes through. Do they make cranks with a different measurement for this?

I think you lost a couple of words somewhere. :lol: Some really old stuff (and I mean like 90-100 yrs old) has one-maker-only sizing. There may be newer stuff that's different, I don't know.

i sound like an idiot :lol: the hole where the pin goes through that causes the chain ring to spin with the crank is farther away than normal.

Maybe for a tall bike like a 28"? Gary
