Chain break that doesnt break?

yeah my first chain tool was from my LBS but of course being new to the antique bike scene i went for the cheap one not thinking to much about it. it looked pretty much the same as the wal mart tool. it was made from some cheap cast, it worked for maybe 2-3 chains, then i thought it was a defect so i got the wal mart version and same deal. I was looking at the chain tools that TSC had to offer but wasnt sure if they would work or not. so i might go and see what my LBS has and see if they carry the park tool. . . and most likely give it a try. sounds like everybody else is pretty happy with it.

I must've bought my Bell chain tools at the right time. Used a bunch of times just to remove and reinstall chains and no sign of trouble yet.

I must be very gentle with mine as it's still doing good and about 20 chains later. I have a cheap one from Canadian Tire.
