my home town had their sesquicentennial this week and had a nice car show 400 cars and some heavy hitters from the area

a friends 66 chevelle he has owned since 69

a high school buddies 68 427 vette

65 impala ss that is my moms best friend from high school her husband gave it to her for a wedding present. we have pics of me as a little kid in it

his 55 chevy that he drove in high school back then it was lifted high and had a glass tilt front end on it

70 chevelle ss 396 this car I spent most of my high school years cruising in. the guy who owns it now said this is the first time its seen sun since mid 1980s

Hooch, Thanks for sharing these pics. It is fun that you know quite a few of the owners. I had to look up the word Sesquicentennial to find out it the the number of years. 150.

Bet you cant wait for the Terquasquicentennial now.

do you recall what kinda car the little white convertible w/red flaes on the front was, its in the 1st pic under "assorted other" next to the red willys with the hood up. I dig the smaller cars like the nash metros and the playboys, jus dont recognize that one for some reason Also dig the bonneville convertible, i love the pontiac front ends from the 60's.
