My friends and I used the crash-into-a-wall method many times over the years to straighten out bent bmx forks. It didn't always work, but it sure was fun to watch. :mrgreen:
Forget bike shops...they want to sell new parts and fixing bent stuff is counterproductive and a possible liability. Find a machine shop or automotive shop with a press, either manual or hydraulic will work. A couple of blocks of wood for support and press away. Work slowly, as it's easy to overbend stuff on one.
