Me and my son are building a bike in memory of my Mom (his Grandma) who just died. We are redoing a ladies schwinn bike and donating it to a hospice center. Normally i would not change any thing on this bike because of its original condition but this is for a special cause. It will be done and put in an auction to raise money for the hospice center. Here is a picture of the bike before i get started

I work on the cancer floor at the county hospital here in Dallas. As soon as I pass my state boards Ill be a cancer nurse. Way to go with the bike...!!!

Great idea, just make sure it can fit the frame, if not maybe set it up an 26'' bike.
Let us know if you need anything for the build. Dont have sprocket but I'll keep an eye out for one.

Edit- I have a few white seats that are in pretty good condition...the underpan would have to be repainted...but it will still do the job
