My wife liked my black bike so much that I had to build her one too..

It is a Murray Monterey that is the hers match to mine >top of this page.. Weinman aluminum wheels, 7 speed with 39 tooth front sprocket and 16" apes. I sprayed the old tan seat with a vinyl upholstery spray paint from the auto parts store. Seat still looks great after 2 - 12 mile rides!

Here's mine. Was all black but I added the forks, bar and headlight and the seat is from my stretch cruiser. I've got a set of cream tires on order but like the simple black and chrome.

Late model cheapo Schwinn

Work in progress. So far I've just changed pedals, tires, seat, bent seat post and grips. I also have a small detachable Wald basket for beer runs. Want to change the chainguard, forks, and add a SRAM 2 speed.

As purchased it was really black!

Now black and cream.
