Very Ghouly! Thew frame's back bone really caught my eye. Anything oter than knobs, would have lost the overall "monsterness" of the creature.

New light for the Bike of Frankenstein. Got this light a while back from rusty513. Also got the idea to work in the speedometer from him. Light and speedo are both functional.

Made a leather chain guard for the bike.

Yes and I made some brackets to mount it.

The rear bracket is adjustable (slides along the wheel stay) so I just pulled it back as far as I could. Not real taught but it does get it above the chain. The belt is pretty stiff so that helps. The front bracket there is metal to make the belt curve over the sprocket.

I'm trying to get this thing worthy of our Art Of The Bicycle show next Friday. Few updates...
Trying to eliminate some of the chrome. Painted the grips and the seat rails, springs etc... with a bronze hammered paint.

Don't know if I'll do something with the seat post or not.

Also made a kickstand.

Thanks guys! I should have spent more time cleaning up my crappy welds on the chain kick stand but I don't have a lot of time, nor patience for that matter.
Couple more updates.
Customized a stock bell using the bell from an old phone.

Cut from a can this hides a ding in the handlebars

That's what I wanted to say!
Can you imagine Dr Frankenstein 'cleaning up the stitches' he made to create his monster? He'd end up with a smooth looking green dude. Just wouldn't be the same... ; - )

Today while at the LBS to pick up some pedals I spotted a bell similar to what I had made only nicer with the dinger on the outside so I bought it. Tonight I swapped out the bell and made a tail light.
