ya, 24" forks and wheels.
thats alot better looking as a bmx than a mountian bike..i have an old huffy frame ive been saving to do just this someday..just gotta keep telling myself one bike at a time... 
What did you use for a rear hub...a bmx hub, or did you re lace a 24" rim to the mtb hub?
I ask this because I am thinking of doing something similar. I have a 26" mtb, and a 24" bmx bike, but the bmx hub is narrower, i think by 25mm. I don't know if i should install the bmx rim with spacers, or re lace the 24" rim to the mtb hub, and remove the extra sprockets (and install spacers). Also, what did you do for brakes (with the smaller rims).

I shaved off the brake mounts and re-laced the wheels with regular hubs and a coaster brake in the back...
