well my brothers friend bought a house and I got a phone call saying " you like junky old bikes right? $50.00 and their yours"

so I went to look and he had 10 columbias in the attic

this is my first trip back I will get more tomorrow

this one is a 63 by the SN but I am not sure of the model it looks like a rambler but I am not %100
it definatly spent some time in the sun
 
WOW, lucky doesn't begin to describe this. :shock: Those two speed fire arrows have very nice styling.

we seem to get a lot of columbia bikes in these parts, most likely because we are about 10 miles from columbia MFG

thanks for the truck offer Kota & Thaismytruck but I grabbed my brothers for tommorows run

I will take some more pics of them as they come in

Wait a second- so you're in MA too then? Or did Columbia have several plants? I thought the original and only plant was out in Westfield, MA.

very cool bikes!!! i have a columbia of unknown orgin, probably late 70's; a clipper. just shows that one man's trash is anothers treasure. how did you get the date from the ser#? i got one if you could guess at its age. you'll be getting a pm.
 
If you're lucky enough to score any extra Columbia parts, I could really use a 24" straight bar middleweight frame ( with the built in kickstand) and a set of 26" peaked fenders like the ones in your photo..........
