Atom Drum Brake

Anybody do maintenance on one of these? I've got one and the pads seem to have lost adhesion with the moving arms inside the brake, and the brake then locks up on me. I'm pretty sure the pads are supposed to be glued to the moving arms, so I think I might try re-attaching them with some 5 minute epoxy. But I'm also worried that the epoxy won't be strong enough and the pads will just fall off again.

So...anybody had this problem before?

I haven't, but I think PL construction adhesive would be better than epoxy.

I just looked this up and have the same problem on a hub i just bought. i took it apart and one shoe is off the plate.
How can i re-adhere the shoe? anyone?

There is plenty of info on the web about brake shoe bonding adhesives. Used all the time in the automotive world.
