@GuitarlCarl
Are you starting with a tandem frame, or going scratch build?

Build off 12 is only a few hours away, looking forward to seeing what everyone has in mind.
Ha! Neither... I'm building a Westfield/Columbia.

Build Offs have always used Central Standard Time.
It's RRB's home time slot (I think)

A two cable twist shift? That's unusual. I'd like to check that out.
It's not that uncommon, just an old Shimano 333.
But I'll try a get a pic. The cable comes out of both sides of the twist, one cable pulls the derailleur in and one pulls it out.

That shifter sounds like it might have been part of the Positron system--an early attempt at indexed shifting. Positron was sort of a push-pull affair that needed two cables to move the derailleur in opposite directions. Later versions replaced the two-cable setup with a single solid piano wire, rather than stranded cable. I've worked on the piano wire version, but have never seen the other.

Looks like the build areas are open for BO12 now.
Have fun everyone.

Where is it? Having a difficult time locating it. All I can find is the WBO threads... must keep searching.

Edit: found it, not showing up on Tapatalk, but is if you go to the forum with your browser.
