a few episodes ago an old guy had a huge bike collection with crazy prices, he had a custom fully enclosed body over the frame. anyone know what that was or has a link to a picture. thanks

Yeah, that would be Chestnut Hollow up here in Michigan. They seem to have at least one of every "holy grail" bicycle; including at least two Bowden Spacelanders which were made with aircraft aluminum I believe.

The Bowden Spacelander is a sub-10lb composite wonder bike, with a full-fiberglass chassis. The only metal is in the fork and steering tube.

The Spacelander weighed a lot more than ten pounds! :D That`s misquoted it`s...

 I stand corrected; it was edited for clarity, her weight was 50 pounds.

It is nonetheless, one of the rarest and most innovative designs in cycling history – brilliant really. :)

I read bits and pieces on the 'net about some sort of recent 'find' of these bikes, or bike parts, for the Spacelander. Does anyone have any info?
