Re: All Florida Ratters!! Unite

Nice! I want a stretch frame so bad for my trike build I just don't have a way to bend the tubes...

Re: All Florida Ratters!! Unite

You can do it with out any crazy bends just find another donor frame cut and make two into one.....I just checked out your trike that thing would look so sweet stretched!!!!

Re: All Florida Ratters!! Unite

Long low and fast is the goal.... but just really looked at that frame of yours and pretty straight forward...

Hello Florida Ratters, and thanks Wildcat and DaytonaRat for welcoming me on the intro page!

Here's a couple of builds. I posted some more pics on the gallery page:

Hey from the Tampa Bay area. @Powertribe, I have the same chainguard as your #43 on my Vista Cruiser project:

noodlenoggin, that chainguard does look the same. That bike is a '70s Viscount.
I look forward to seeing your Vista project when it's done.

@Daytona Rat: Cool builds! I particuarly like that second one and the red one. I'm normally not big on trikes, but I like that one with the suspension fork.

Real Cool, I am from Auburndale Fl but I'm bad it although every part I have is no good for me to use so I don't have anything done yet.

Two I have are what someone did already before I got them but some the parts are bad on the first bike so it's not as good as in the photos except for the Mercury bike which whatever kid that did it before the last owner got it did a good job & it's still rideable.

My Christine bike that I have been trying to do and she still needs painted but I can't do it myself since I am bad at it so I have to wait until I can get the money to get someone to paint it for me and I need to figure out how to put the V on the headtube.

My 68 Stingray Project, again I can't get afford to get any parts for it to get it done.

Here's a couple of other recent builds. The first is a new Sun cruiser bike customized for a bike shop. The second is an old steel road bike done up for a customer with a poker scheme:

Not any time soon but I just want to know for any future references how much do you usually cost for painting if I supply the paint minus primer and for the paint you use?

Count me in, up here in Atlantic Beach. As for a ride, my working hours usually have me on shift during the weekend, with a couple days off during the week, so it's tough planning anything like a ride. A couple of my bikes:
