This was an Ebay "local pick up only" purchase.

Frame has a crack, but everything else is in nice shape. The seller said it was his childhood bike and he recently threw the late model seat and seat post on the bike...I'm thinking that may have been the reason for the crack.

Well, that's a good question.

I may not do anything to it since I don't really ride these 20" bikes anyway.

For me they end up just being nostalgic and fun to look at and tinker with.

Sometimes I feel like one of those dog rescue people who end up with 100 dogs that they know they need to find homes for, but can't bring themselves to letting them go.

Is that rust I see?

(Steve's left eye twitches as he runs out to the garage to scrub it clean  )

WOW! A goose that cracked, say it ain't so.

That seat is sweet. New Skool Retro 8)

Vee out the crack and Tig weld it with a round brass bar inserted in the seat post tube during welding
