So this all started when I was bored in class and started doin some sketching. After cracking my fibula a couple weeks ago I found myself sitting around with a lot of extra time... Sooo I searched craigslist and found the perfect donor bike for fairly cheap and got started immediately. I apologize for the lack of progress pictures but I am a fairly impatient person and frankly completely forgot to track progress. I still need to get a set of tires so I can put the original 27" rims back on instead of my road wheels and install a suicide brake setup. Hope you guys like it!\

here's what I started with...

bent up the tubing

So i decided that a matte finish paint job would really set the bike off. So i used flat black on the rims, satin blue on the frame and fork, and hand sanded down all the chrome surfaces to give it that "brushed" stainless look. Sorry for the cell pics.. I'll get the better pics up tonight when I upload them from my camera. Hope y'all like it!

First off, thank you all for the great comments!! And as for breaking my leg... I wish it was a fun story but i just jumped off a cliff into shallow water. /: The paint stand isn't pretty but it sure works! haha

Man...I'd like to see what you could pull off with a good leg!

Love the way it turned out and glad to see you used the bow pedals. :D
