63' Schwinn American and a friend.

I found this bike in a barn in Southwest Iowa last weekend.

Bought it from the original owner, it was his second bike as a kid, back in a corner I saw his first bike, got it also. It is a 53' Schwinn Spitfire, 20" It was sold yesterday, a great little bike. Both bikes from the original owner, it was a good visit.

The American is heading back to Texas. It rides great.

That American is my first bike... purchased for me at 8 years old in '63, when I couldn't even get on it. Still got it in my parent's garage. One of these days I'm going to bring it home and fix it up.
