61 Schwinn Skipper

new find at the hunnert car pile up, 1961 schwinn skipper, just need a few period correct parts and its ready.

I have a '61 (only year) 24" SKIPPER.The frame on mine continues right on down to the rear stays and isn't "broken",per se,at the seat
post.Check those welds good at the seat post as I heard they have a habit of cracking.Cool find tho...I love mine...Pappy 8)

Mine started off as a bmx as well, I turned it into a "stingray"

Mines a 59

Stripped the blue off to find another layer of red over the original red. Also found a correct large schwinn badge for it
