I was thinking about this last night too. I am going to have a look at local events. Anyone from the Jersey Shore up for this?
I wish we had any old fashioned 4th parades around here.
the paper here is full of firework events for all three days this year.
they can be good, but the traffic jam/parking challenge before, and the huge traffic jam leaving the event, makes me stay home.
what happened to the firetruck, clowns, bikes, moms with kids in wagons, and all that parading down Main Street?

We didnt snap to the thought of joining our parade until last night, and now im sure its too late to do so...
Im riding my 58 western flyer fireflite in the Lake Forrest(ca) parade w/ a 100+- other vintage bikers. Quite a few from RRB.
My family is going to make our own parade!
We will be riding a Dyno Enduro 7(mine), the wife will be on her Dyno Glide Deluxe, son and daughter on their GTs, a 1996 Interceptor and a 200oish Compe. The other kids(friends) will be riding a 3 wheel circus looking trike, a goose, a Huffy and a pacific! There may be one more if her Mom lets her ride their 80s Schwinn cruiser.
Remember kids, playing with fireworks can be dangerous so shoot them at the neighbors house!!!
