48 Schwinn staightbar

I picked up another project!
its a work in progress but heres a peek as it is now

It even looks like it's going fast!

It has that "Harley Dirt Tracker" look with the droped handles and the straight center bar.

Stretch the frame out and build a Cathy Racer,lay down your stomach on the top tube ,chin at the headset, peddles back, oval track speedster bike.

That would look COOL!

good score! can't wait to see it progress.....

This is a great bike. Straightbar cruisers are the best!

I think the world lacks leaf-spring forks...hint hint. You need to mass-produce those things.

Nice bikes indeed militarymonark. The Schwinn in the foreground looks to be the same model as the one Hooch sold to me.

More pictures of it would certainly be welcome here Actually, a close up of the headset would be very helpful (if it's not too much to ask).
