3 pc cranks

i'd like to convert standard frame for 1 pc crankset to use bottom bracket for 3 piece crank assy. anyone know where i can get parts/kit for this? thanks

you could just use a BMX 3 PC like i did on my klunker type bmx bike

There are two ways of doing this.

It depends on whether you want to run sealed bearings like the newer road and mountain bikes or if you want to run the traditional caged bearing set up.

I have converted a couple of bikes to run the non-sealed bearing BB.

You would need to buy this kit from your LBS or online...

It's easy to install and requires no special tools....should work with most cruiser frames.

Are there any 3 piece cranksets that are made with standard 68mm bottom bracket, english threading, and are compatible with 1piece crank style sprockets? I am thinking maybe BMX style possibly, but not sure. Any ideas?
