26 X 3 Tire questions

I just bought a Felt Cortez with 50mm Felt rims.....I am installing a Felt Abraham Linkage springer.....I would like to install 26 x 3 Kenda Flames on the bike. Does anyone know if there is enough clearance and if they will fit where can I buy them....Cycle US is out of stock....please help!

According to this guy, 26"x3" wouldn't be a problem. But they're not Kenda's,so I'm not 100% sure.

these tires are 24 x 3......do you know if the heighth will work?.......thanks for the help!

Ok, I thought only width was important. A friend of mine runs a 26" (65 mm wide) rim in his A.L.-fork,but with a 2,35 tyre,so that's a bit lower,I presume. Looking at the pic,there seems to be enough clearance for a 3". This is all the info I've got,dude. Hope it's enough. Maybe someone else,to verify my thoughts? Good luck mingero.
