26" Schwinn ?'s

Can anyone help me figure out how to identify this old Schwinn. I'm guessing pre-war due to the skip link chain. What parts are correct? What might be missing?

Not if it's original to the bike

Where is the SN on the bike? Bottom bracket or left drop out? If it is on the BB then it date the bike as Jan. 22, 1951. I assume that is where it is because nothing else on the chart matches. Everything looks to be original except the baskets and paint.

Yes, bottom bracket. So I need some fenders then. Were they all painted or was chrome an option?
