keep getting a "low side" when inflated, like a 6 inch section of the tire hugs the very inside of the rim instead of sitting at the bead.
 
Try inflating them slowly and checking the fit often. Keep reseating them and adding more air until the fit is right. Unless there's a problem with the tire itself, a little patience should be all it takes to get it seated right.
 
I have had the same problem numerous times. Best solution I found is to put some soapy water on the bead all the way around on both sides and air the tire with it laying on the ground, not standing up.

10psi...squeeze tire all the way around...10psi more...more squeezing...keep doing that and the tire should seat
