Well I was having trouble finding a mens cruiser at a decent price so when this Western Flyer came up for sale for $25 I had to jump on it.
The bike was in great shape down to the original tires holding air. The paint had just the right amount of pitting if thats possible. The only issue is its a womans bike So out comes the cut off wheel and the welder!
A few minutes later I have my mens cruiser A little more hacking and welding to make the perfect bars and almost have a cool rat rod.
Last piece to the puzzle was found at the local antique store for $4 and my ride is complete Ok not totally complete I do need to leave it out in the rain to blend the paint a little
I also managed to dig this up on the list for $25 for the wife. Its a Sears and all it needed was tubes/tires and a sweet basket to be complete. Now officially the coolest couple in the hood!
