#2 Bike Project- Restore or Patina?

Picked this one up today. AMF Skyrider Bike with creased fenders not sure the year but I like it.
First bike project I am ratting it out, this one I would like to just clean up repair the seat and
just ride it. Is it to far gone or is the patina good enough to clean up and ride? Thanks

Id go with just doing something about the seat, make it safe and ride it. The thing with patina, the more the better usually. And id guestimate your skyrider to be an early to mid 60's. (I've got a 60' amf, myself)

Go through the mechanicals,clean it up a little and ride it. Patina rules!

Wash and wax the paint, I bet you get some shine out of it
