Re: 1984 MONGOOSE EXPERT BMX (4/29)

Here she is after a thorough detailing, a new decal set and new tubes and tires.

The new decal set is amazing...it's an exact replica for $50 shipped.

I also cleaned and repacked the headset bearings and the crank bearings.

All that's left is a set of brakes and for me to clean out the freewheel.

Would also love to get my hands on a pad set for this bike.

So far I have $90 invested in the whole project. :D

And just a reminder of how she looked when I got her...

You done good! Saved another old BMX from a rough BMX after life.

Thanks man...it was really my first BMX to really overhaul.

I'm thinking I might hang it and my 71 All-Pro on my wall at work.

Ha Ha...man...you caught me!

Well, I wanted to test the waters and see if anyone is really interested in this bike.

I have no idea what it's really worth, but the fact that it is mint should help it some.

Who knows, I may chicken out and pull it off the market.

Very nice project bike. I have a similar bike but in red. Where did you find the stickers? and how much did you have it for sale for? please let me know thanks
