1973 Schwinn Deluxe Twinn

I scored this bike at a garage sale outside of chicago for $40 clams. I put new tires and tubes on it. The chain, chainrings and derailleurs all needed cleaning and lubrication. After that it rides like a champ. The rear drum break is bizarre but it works great. I figured out they are easiest to adjust when the bike is on a stand.

Has anyone ever ratted a Deluxe Twinn??

That copper is a great old school color. I've seen lots of the green metallic around. The yellow was a surprise.

I'm not sure how long I will keep this one, but the kids are getting excited for the 4th of July bike parade. At least until fall.

There was a woman and her daughter riding the exact same bike in the parade, what are the odds twin Twinns!
