This bike came to me a few years ago and had been relegated to the back of the bike barn.....kinda forgotten. Well, had some time on my hands and decided to see how it would clean up, and do it without any cash investment, or as little as possible. I did spend about $1.50 on replacing some missing hardware. I still want to do something with the dual lights up front...I'm looking for a matching pair of light that I can replace these with and I'm still messing with getting the horn unit in the tank to come back to life. Other than that, all of what you see came out of the "parts bin", including the correct drop center rims and Bendix Red Band coaster hub (there was a very crappy set of incorrect wheels on it, and the coaster hub was no better). Even the tires cleaned up pretty nice and are like new. It rides great, and I like the "patina". And, it's a TANKER.....my weakness!
