Ok, so, the tire shine is doing great.

Here’s the seat after soaking with tire shine for about a half hour..

I think I’m going to just let it ride on the white part of the seat and keep the wear.

I’m about to assembly (Im going to hit the frame with boiled linseed oil, then assemble) and going over the bike again, it is covered in wear. Scratches, rust, chips, you name it. I think if I spiffy the seat too much, it won’t look right with the rest of the “nicely worn” bike.

Started final assembly.

I’ve seen a numbers of guys on here do the boiled linseed oil. -I never have..... until today!!!!

I must confess, I can’t believe how much it makes the paint pop!!! It looks great!!!!

I also never thought I would really dig a middleweight cruiser, but I’m digging this thing!!!!

Note on the white head tube accent I added the gold pinstripes.

I’m loving this dude!!!

Done!!!

I present to you..... RED!

I’ll take it for a spin and get some better pics tomorrow.

Now I can get the Grammaw Patina Bike going in the RRBO.

Man that looks good!
Where would a fella procure said linseed oil, and what is the process for using it?

I have a late 50’s Rollfast that is screaming for that stuff!
