1948 Wards Hawthorne Deluxe women's bike with skirt guards.
Well, this is kind of fresh for me . . . It's been in the loft of my barn for 12 years and I just dusted it off for the first time ... Bought it for my wife back in the day and it's really too heavy for her.
Not sure, but thinking about selling it. I wouldn't part it out, hate for someone to chop it...was hoping it'd end up in a good collection and get a pretty easy restore.
I misplaced the original black Troxel saddle and Hawthorne pedals (that I took off to save $#!+). Only thing other thing that's missing is lamp/battery tray for kickback brake light. Has wiring. Not sure if this model had turn signal, but may have.
Have more detailed pics, but thought this might be of interest if you have one or were looking to see a nearly complete bike.
