the head on the stem bolt is broke off.

KJV - if you end up taking dos cuiser's advice and convert to a springer, I'd be happy to take the truss rods off of your hands. (smiles) For the going rate, that is. My '49 DX needs a pair.

Na Id leave it, looks like it has a nice patina. Throw some boiled linseed on it and I'm sure it would look even better. I'd get it rideable first though.
