All - I'm looking at a 1940 Ladies Hawthorne, complete with skirt guards and deluxe springer. Chrome is pitted and it's been completely rattle canned, but she looks solid. Missing tank, light, guard, and rack.... but everything else is looks to be there.

Do you think she's worth saving for $150?

depends what you want to do with it. Also, what area of the country you are in.

It needs the right skirt/chain guard, which is not so easy to get.

Personally, my absolute price ceiling would be $100.

Yeah... I have been waiting to hear back from the seller regarding the right side. My interest in the bike is dwindling. It's listed on the Mpls CL if anyone else is interested.

GO GIT IT! That would make me a nice parts bike. Handgrips, Springer, truss rods and
Shirt guard, fatty fenders, and recoverable seat!!!

The forks and guards are worth $150 easily.
Thats the same fork that I used on Flexy last year. With a stiffer spring, she's a beauty to ride.
BUY IT!
