Hey did u use the sea side paint? If its hot by you did you have any issues with the paint cracking?

Not with the Seaside, but I had a couple of cracks with the white and had to sand them out. I think that has to do with surface prep.

Its that freaking paint. I prepared the heck out of the frame and had one spot do it

May be. It was hot and humid when I painted too.
Mine wasn't really a crack, but more like a small jagged raised line.

That has got to be the best looking springer ever created! And your paint design really makes it that much cooler.

I agree about these forks. I gotta thank @gowjobs for selling this one to me. I tried to paint it in such a way to highlight the bullet like curves on the shroud and mirror the similar shapes on the jet wing.

Had to take VerBoten outside to see it without a junky shop background.

These colors definitely give it a fifties vibe. I could see Jerry Lee riding this after he got a DUI in his Rocket 88.

Been in the shop all night. Just saw the last batch of pics and the reflective light really washed them out a bit. I'll have to remember that time of day and angle and not use it.

Like the undercover sticker placement, reminiscent of a speed part decal collection under the trunk lid.:ninja::thumbsup:

Thanks. You can see it in this photo. Also the screw that was the fish's eye is holding a stem wedge that is gonna act as my coaster brake arm stop.

Assembled the turbine and went with a slanted spiral.

Got all of the puzzle pieces together that make up the Elgin headtube shroud with the Kingfish additions of a soup can grill and Murray scoop.

I hate to be the one to point this out,and it's honestly just my ocd talking. But the blue line on the soup can isn't level with the shroud.
Other than that this thing is friggin awesome.
