    Schwinn fork question

    manta ray uses 24" wheels. Ray uses 20" wheels. The answer is no. The ray fork is too short.

    That is a schwinn "new world" Not sure of the year, but a cool bike. Probably mid 40's I would snatch that up quick at that price.

    Need some restoration help

    Try a product called "rust-free" available at Woodcraft and Rockler hardware stores, as well as other woodworking stores. Try it on a q-tip. Its sulfuric acid, and eats rust. rinse with soapy water. For tough spots use a scotch brite pad. Try to not get it on surrounding paint, as it will...

    rusty patina questions

    Thanks for the tips guys. I will try the vinager, as its cheap....I was thinking of rustoleum brown/rust colored primer, and a satin clear coat, at least from 5 feet away, it would look rusty....but I may try just neutralizing the rust and clear coating....I will post more as I know more...

    Hey all, My first post here....I have a Schwinn DX frame that is solid rust. I want to keep the rusty patina, but not have it accelerrate...How do I keep the rusty color, but not have it advance into cancer? Will clear coat neutralize the rust? Any thoughts would be great....Any advice...
