    Poop Picker...or...Tetnis Krate

And finally, Behold! The Poop Picker! Why? Cause it looks like crap! But oh it rides so sweet. It will be getting a shifter to go with the three speed hub tomorrow. Out, Johnboy

    Poop Picker...or...Tetnis Krate

Gotta have a chain or you won't get far. I was one link short so I improvised. One cotter pin holding the chain together....Nice! I know it's a crappy photo. This ones a little better. Look close

    Poop Picker...or...Tetnis Krate

Can't steer it without handle bars. Check out the sweet chrome. Wouldn't be a Krate without accessories, so we'll throw in a top of the line headlight.

    Poop Picker...or...Tetnis Krate

I know, I know. I should have taken pics during the build but I didn't. I can take it apart and start over if I have to. Start with one 1968 Five Speed Stingray Frame notice where the shifter was? Add one nice comfy bucket seat for that sporty look!

    LBS RAGE

I went to my LBS for a chain for a Hiawatha I'm building. Nothing fancy just a chain for a single speed coaster brake. The kid getsthis dumb look on his face and asks "Is that some kinda BMX or something?" I hate to say it but I went to Wal-Mart and bought the chain I needed for less than...

    It begins!!

Do the twenty inch rims have the same number of spokes as the 26 inch rims? If not, you will have big problems trying to get tehm to work together being your first time and all. You'd be better of going to the Salvation Army or Good Will and look for an old coaster bike that you can steal the...

    Tornado revisited

Hey guys, I thought you might like to see a couple pics of my Tornado. The guy that I got the bike from gave me these Scrambler bars and this Hurricane bench seat. I had sold the Tornado on eBay a few months ago but the guy never sent the money and then left me negative feedback saying I was...

    Allow me to rant!

Ford trucks. I have a 52 panel, a 58 pickup, and a 68 pickup right now. I've had a 48, a 51, a 76, an 85, and an 86 as well. And Records (vinyl) I have several. Not as many as I used to have ,I sold my collection to my buddy, but I kept my favorites.

    Allow me to rant!

What's with non bike people? What's so wrong about having a basement full of bike and bike parts. Some of you know the looks. The "have you lost your freaking mind" look upon walking down the stairs and seeing 30-40 bicycles of various vintage grip to grip and pedal to pedal. My wife just...

    A few new bikes

And finally the '67 stingray. It needs a little atention but for the price, and considering I got the extra bikes and a ton of parts as well, I think I did pretty good. Here it is when I got it home. And here it is after I put the blue seat on. The blue seat was in the pile of "trash"...

    A few new bikes

This next one is called a Chevoly. I've never heard of it. I googled it and got nothing. Any ideas? The headlights work, as does the shifter. The paint looks like brand new and the white letter tires are in mint condition.

    A few new bikes

I bought a 67 stingray off of the ebay today. I went to pick it up local and the guy tells me "There's a pile of bikes on the side of the garage. Dig through it and take what you want." So I did. I got this for my neice. I'm going to change to chrome fenders but not much more. I dig the...

    Frankin-rat

honestly, with the exception of the ape hangers, it's just stuff I've found in the trash, the Salvation Army, or at a garage sale. I cut them up and welded them together.

    Frankin-rat

Yeah, I know the name is cliche, but I had to. It's built from the corpses of 12 dead bikes. It used to be a AMF Debutante. Check it out. I'm going to grind down the welds put on a 24 in fork and paint it white with the blue seat and blue rear rim I think it'll be pretty cool. JB

    Oooh, Barracuda!

I just gave my 6 year old nephew an NOS Barracuda 16 I got at the estate sale of a LBS owner that passed away recently. He named it rose and says it's his "Sweet Ride". He's crazy about it. P.S. I did set the seat as high as it would go and take it for a spin. Those little crank arms don't...

Have late 80's SchwinnCruiser frame. Need help finding parts

Like some of the others said, find another bike shop, seriously. We have a shop here that has always bent over backwards for me... as long as I deal with Rob, the owner. Any time I go in there and a bunch of high school kids are working I just leave. I have a 40's..ish Hiawatha straight bar...
