    Hi, I've got this 1946 CCM and I'm trying to fix it up. The tires are shot and need to be replaced. They are 28 in diamters and 1 1/2 in. width. Any ideas?

    Hi, I've got this 1946 CCM bicycle that I want to repaint but I'm pretty positive that its got lead based paint on it and I don't know how to remove it safely. Any ideas?

    Re: Got a 1946 CCM women's bike I actually started to do that and then thought hmmm...lead paint... then checked out some info online. Being as toxic as it is I don't want to die restoring an old bike. Thanks for your advice though!

    Hi, My name is Amy. I live outside of chicago but am originally from Canada. My grandpa was going to thtrow out this old 1940's ccm female bike but i got it before he could and want to restore it. I never done anything like this but I can't bare to watch such a nice bicycle sit in my garage...
