Again, that is an awesome homemade springer fork! Why buy when you can make it yourself?!? Is that a pugeot frame?

    Monark Street Racer ~~ CLUB-29 ~~ IT RIDES 5-22 ~~

Re: The 700 Club I found a way around having the wrong size steer tube. I've had to deal with too long a tube usually, but if you can find another tube the same size, cut it and take an aluminum stem and run it through all the parts. run the welder on low. it wont stick to the aluminum and...

    Unfair Marriage

I like it so far. You took two ugly bikes and are putting them together into something that may be kinda cool. You bend your pipes with a torch too? do you pack them with sand first? I like the fender. It'll wrap around well. Get a little Jb weld to fill in the holes and just sand it down. After...

Just a RANT about Necks / Headsets

Re: Wd40 and pb blaster are both water based lubricants. Another good oil based lube is thunder bolt. It doesn't dry up and works great.

    early 70's cloumbia tripper rat

A buddy of mine gave me a fender off some old girls bike. Pretty sure it was actually originally pink. I attached it for now with a few coat hangers. I think it brings some color to the bike... This shows the nice chrome piece i found under the crappy house paint when i stripped it off with a...

    so lucky!

The tire alley of the shop i work at has about 5 whole bikes and another 4 that i have chopped up into little pieces to save room, about 15 rims and other handlebars brake setups, random sprockets... all this is space is money... and they still don't complain about using their wire and welder! I...

    early 70's cloumbia tripper rat

I built a more dated front fork for it. Totally matches the era... might even bring it back a bit. Some bike rescue that got dumped in my friends backyard. The only difference between my first fork and the second is it's 24 inch and the top piece of the fork... whatever you call it, is chrome...

    3.5 Briggs on a bmx

Last weekend I got the frame straight and welded on the top tube. It looks a little funny but the engine takes up so much room. Before I start making my tank, my can't is vacuum fed. Am I going to be running into problems if I start gravity feeding? Will it flood it out? Should I make a...

What do you do to keep the frame straight? Who has the best process for keeping everything inline? With the addition of an engine, these frame's need to be straight as an arrow. Any pointers?

    3.5 Briggs on a bmx

Thanks guys. I'm wishing it would come together a little faster... should have rims in the next few weeks. Busy moving this weekend so no chance of getting anything done anytime soon. I also just got a nice muscle bike off the back of my friends scrap truck for me lady that I need to get...

    3.5 Briggs on a bmx

This is my first motorized build. So I'm sure I'll have some questions along the way. Thank you everyone for all your posts. I've learned so much of what to do and especially what not to do! I've leaned, I hope from other mistakes.... ok with that being said... this is what I have so far...

need some advice. just a few questions before I start my bu

So I guess if your 21 inch rims end up being 28 with tires then 17s might be just fine on my 20in frame... I checked out those generators from kubota. They seem to be reasonable priced. Thanks for that. That'll probably be the route I take. The bottom bar I'm putting on it drops down pretty...

need some advice. just a few questions before I start my bu

so heres a few pics to make this a legit build post... i have more than this going on right now... The heart The skeleton So I guess its newer than the 90's.. but it is seriously heavy. Its a good strong frame. I wish i had taken a picture of that moped frame before i cut it up but i jumped...

need some advice. just a few questions before I start my bu

I'm starting my first engine driven builds. So fast I've taken a bike and key jumped right in. I've gone over handlebars going 10 miles an hour before and walked away, but now, it's getting serious. I have an older 3.5HP Briggs and Stratton and a nice heavy bmx frame grime the 90's I'm...
