I bought this sweet little tank off of an 80s Honda Xl80 from eBay, the paint has a nice patina, and there are no dents on it. But when I got it in the mail the inside was rusted out really bad. I filled it with vinegar and let it sit for a day or so to clean it out. I was going to re seal it...

I believe having pegs with no pedals changes your classification with the DMV, if you ever got pulled over they would expect you to have a M1 license... I mean this is all assuming you want to make it street legal, my vote is for pegs all the way. :)

I've read the build thread on that car. he rusted thewhole thing drove it for a while, rubbed it down with navel jelly (thats what turns the rust black) then rubbed it with diesel motor oil. I dont have a link to the site but if you google some thimg to the effect of "rusty the BMW stanceworks"...

Are you going to remount the shock mounts now with the mt bike shocks in there, so it doesn't kick the fork backwards? or is that just because there's no weight on the bike now
